Starting Out

OK... first post... just to get the stuff flowing. It's been a while since I've been set up to do stuff creatively, since the basement was flooded.
As the title indicates, I grew up in the city of Stratford, Ontario, Canada. I spent most of my life there, and still visit my friends who live there. This blog'll serve as a sounding board for me to indicate progress on stuff, as well as relate random brain droppings that strike me, which I don't feel is appropos to post on other people's boards/comment sections.

So random thought number one: There's a cool pedestrian bridge that crosses the Avon in Stratford. I don't know if it's still accessible or not (I presume so). It was a nice way to cut some travel time, although I'm not sure they intended it for biking (that's how we used it anyways). We used it all the time to get a cone at the Whip'n'Waffle, or just to get to the library. I believe the bridge was there to help the flow of the river and keep it from flooding; there was a lot of machinery behind metal panelling on that bridge.
